Elisabeth Maberry, M.Ed.
Elisabeth (Beth) Poling Maberry is the Director of Finance & Operations, Online & Continuing Education. Beth manages and oversees divisional budgets, day-to-day operations and marketing, summer program development, and short-term travel study in this role.
Beth holds a Master of Education in Student Development in Higher Education with a concentration in At Risk Students, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Ecology and Environmental Sciences, both from the University of Maine. Her specialty areas include program development and assessment, strategic planning, operations, student crisis response and intervention, and marketing/communications.
After graduating from the University of Maine, Beth served in several roles with Student Affairs- Residence Hall Director at the University of New Hampshire, Assistant Director of Housing Services at the University of Maryland South Campus Commons, and most recently as the Associate Director of Housing and Residence Life at Springfield College. Beth joined the DLL team in July 2019 as the Coordinator for Summer Program Development, leading staff and faculty across the University in developing robust summer programs to aid in student recruitment, retention, and success, including obtaining multiple grants to fund these new initiatives. Beth has also taught as an adjunct here at UMaine.
When not at work, Beth loves to travel, spend time outdoors (especially hiking and fishing), cook, sew, and spend time with her partner and young son.
