Zeus’ Story
“I chose the University of Maine-Orono’s Master of Social Work online program for a variety of reasons. One of the stipulations I placed upon picking a program was the ability to keep my full-time job in mental health while obtaining my master’s degree. In doing so, I have been able to enhance my capacities to affect positive social and psychological change in real-time and better manage my debt obligations. Furthermore, the flexibility in being able to complete schoolwork at times and places that work best for me has allowed me to travel around North America and Europe. Even though I was physically distanced from program faculty this did not prevent me from getting the support I felt I needed. Whenever I had questions or concerns professors were no more than an email, video chat, or phone call away. With these factors in mind, I am very pleased with my decision to obtain my degree through UMaineOnline.”
