Rebecca’s Story
I first attended UMaine in 2010, when I was 39. Life’s circumstances – working full time, with four kids – it wasn’t easy, and after a few years I stopped. Last fall I reached out about the online BUS program. I had heard about BUS from several coworkers who had completed their degrees with the help of UMaine online, and all of them had a wonderful experience.
Everyone I met with, spoke with or emailed was SO helpful. I had changed my major a few times the first time I was in college, with no real idea of what I wanted to do. The Bachelor of University Studies program has so many options. So here I am now 50, working full time, and back in school! The amount of support I have received from everyone, but especially Barbara, the director of BUS, has been just amazing. Barbara is so kind and helpful and always has my best interests at heart. I am so excited about what is to come!
