“I was a little concerned when I started the program that an online degree would be impersonal or feel isolating. On the contrary, I’ve found the program to be engaging and very much feel like I’m part of a community. For each class I’ve taken, the professor offered real-time discussions or Q-and-A sessions — often with multiple opportunities to meet so I could fit it into my schedule. We’ve used discussion boards and other online tools to have student-to-student discussions and help sessions. The professors encourage students to contact them with problems or questions and reply to emails very quickly. I’ve found the classes, professors, and fellow students to be helpful, personable, and interesting. I appreciate the flexibility of the program. I can plan my assignments and online meetings around my schedule. The classes have been challenging and interesting — I’m learning a lot. I’m in my second semester and I highly recommend this program.”
