Minimum Technology Requirements

The computer must have speakers and a microphone capabilities for Zoom video conferencing. 
Minimum OS: Mac OS X with Mac OS 10.10 and higher. Windows 7 and higher.
Mac OS, Windows OS or Chrome OS computer with: 2.5 GHz Dual Core Intel Core i5 and higher desktop CPU.
Bandwidth Requirements: 2.0 Mbps or faster

  Google Apps

As a University of Maine student you will be asked to use Google Suite for email, collaboration on group work, the creation of presentations, etc.  Learn to use these tools efficiently and with confidence.

Zoom

Find support, tutorials, and access to Zoom web video conferencing. Zoom is a program used to hold meetings with online students used by advisors and instructors.

Please take a moment to ensure that your zoom client is updated to the latest version. All UMS students, faculty and staff have access to a full Zoom Pro account which can be accessed via the MyCampusPortal LaunchPad or by going to Zoom. For info on how to update your account, please visit Zoom Resources & Support page.
